Article 3 of the United States Constitution

Article 3 of the United States Constitution discusses the last of the three branches of government, that being the judiciary branch. There are three total sections in Article 3.

The first section establishes the Supreme Court. It sets the terms of judges. Judges serve "for life" as long as they are on good behavior and they can be impeached. It also states that judges shall be paid.

The second section discusses the kinds of cases that can be heard by the judiciary. It also discusses the right to trial by jury in criminal court.

The third section defines what the crime of treason is.

And that's it! This Article is a pretty short one.

Did I forget to cover anything?  How much did you know about Article 3 of the U.S. Constitution?

Next week I'll discuss Article 4.
